China: Where Is He?

Where is He?Tibet's Panchen Lama, Gedhun Choekyi Nyima, is 22-years old. In 1995, after being recognized by the Dalai Lama as the reincarnation of the 10th Panchen Lama, one of Tibet's highest Buddhist leaders, Chinese authorities kidnapped the boy and his family. He was 6-years old. He has not been seen nor heard from since.

The Chinese government claims he is living peacefully, but refuses to allow international observers to meet him. Help keep the pressure on for his release. Demand the Chinese government tell the world where he is.

Take Action: Send the letter below to Yang Jiechi, China's Minister of Foreign Affairs, and Zhu Weiqun, Vice-Minister of the United Front Work Department and China's official spokesperson for Tibetan affairs.

Recipients

  • Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yang Jiechi
  • Vice-Minister Zhu Weiqun
